Haunting of Olde Towne (HOOT)
The streets of Clinton's Olde Towne will once again be filled with ghouls, ghosts and goblins when the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department hosts its annual "Haunting of Olde Towne."
The Haunting of Old Towne will be held on Thursday, Oct 31 from 6-8:30 pm.
New for 2019, the Clinton Police Department and Dispatch are joining the fun with Monster Mugshots, candy and other fun experiences inside the Police Department during the event. Children will also receive a child identification kit and free fingerprint card.
Returning to the event are the usual crowd favorites such as cake walks, costume contests for all ages, and carnival style games will return for this year's event.
Climbing wall, bounce houses and other interactive games will be available for attendees to Clinton’s Haunting of Olde Towne.
As always there will be lots of candy and toys for everyone participating in the games and age appropriate prizes given to contest winners. The cost for this event is $2 per person.
Entrances to this year’s event will be at the intersection of Main and Jefferson Streets and on Leake Street in front of the Police Station.
The public is encouraged to enjoy a costume contest for all ages, a cake walk, pumpkin carving contest.
The City of Clinton is offering organizations and churches hosting free events, the opportunity to share their event on the City web calendar. Events will be added to the city calendar and also shared in the City's E-newsletter in October.
