Clinton Tabletop Day is in its fifth year as a free annual celebration of board gaming for the entire family. Tabletop day is a volunteer driven effort in conjunction with the City of Clinton, and the Community is invited to this year’s event on March 20 -21 2020, at the A.E. Wood Activity Center.
Hours for Tabletop Day events are Friday, March 20 from 6:00 P.M. – 10 P.M. and Saturday, March 21 from 10:00 A.M. – 6 P.M.
In 2016, several local game enthusiasts volunteered access to their collections, and welcomed a few dozen neighbors who joined in the fun. Last year over 250 attendees participated in the event.
This year’s Tabletop Day Event will feature a library of games with over 100 unique titles that you can try out, a dexterity games area, demos of several miniatures games, and even a custom escape room experience. There will be over 20 play-to-win games, hourly drawings for prizes, and several board game tournaments throughout the day on Saturday. Friday evening attendees will have access to the library of games and play-to-win sections. A group of volunteers will be on hand to welcome attendees, help introduce new players to any of the games, and running various events.
Thanks to the support of national board game publishers and generous local sponsors, lots of prizes, treats, and giveaways will be available for attendees.
