Christmas Tree Lighting presented by Hetrick Real Estate
City Hall and the streets of Olde Towne will be the venue for Clinton to kick-off the holiday season. The city's official Christmas tree lighting presented by Hetrick Real Estate will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, in front of City Hall.
The Lovett Elementary Show Choir will perform some of your favorite Christmas tunes. Santa will be on hand to greet children and hear their Christmas wishes.
The performance and lighting will be followed by hot cocoa and cookies with Santa himself, but don't ruin the surprise for the little ones!
The event is free and is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit with a celebration appropriate for the entire family.

Yule Run Clinton set for Dec. 1
The morning of December 1 will usher in a new annual fundraiser for the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, as they will host the first-ever Yule Rule Clinton, a rousing, holly-jolly-fun race through the heart of Clinton’s decorated downtown.
Yule Run Clinton, a new annual fundraiser for the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, is a combined 5K walk/run and 10K run race through Clinton's historic Olde Towne and the Clinton Boulevard route of the annual Christmas parade for the city. Organizers say the race is sure to get participants festively dashing through Clinton. The run will conclude by 10 a.m. to allow everyone to relax and view the annual Christmas parade, which immediately follows the event.
All participants will receive a finisher medal and participant packet (swag bag). Those who sign up before November 15 are guaranteed a Yule Run Clinton official race t-shirt, also. Special awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each category (5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run).
Early bird registration is $25, with regular registration set at $30.
Visit the Yule Run Clinton website at www.yulerunclinton.com for more information and to register, or call the Clinton Chamber at 601-924-5912.

As you crawl, enjoy carriage rides through Olde Towne and take a picture with your friends in the photo booth. As the evening draws to a close, participants will be served heavy hors d'oeuvres. Santa Claus will make an appearance and assist the business owners in giving away door prizes. Call the Main Street office at 601.924.5472 for more information or to purchase tickets.
