The City of Clinton operates as a Code Charter form of government, divided equally into six Wards. The local Governing Body is comprised of the Mayor, one Alderman representing each of the six Wards and one Alderman-at-Large whose duty is to represent the entire community.
Open to the public, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen meet the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Court Room located at 305 Monroe Street. |
