Clinton is situated within the metropolitan area of the capital of Jackson on Interstate 20 with its Clinton Industrial Park just off the I-20 east frontage road and MCI's Mississippi offices off I-20 between Springridge Road and Clinton-Raymond Road with access to both. The Clinton Parkway, completed in 2002, links North and South Clinton for easy access. The planned expansion of the Clinton-Raymond Road Interchange at I-20 and widening of Northside Drive will further improve traffic flow.
A cooperative City government with an attitude of growth and business-oriented educational facilities in Mississippi College at Clinton and Hinds Community College at nearby Raymond add to the business-friendly climate of the City. The Economic Development Department is located at 100 E. Leake Street.
