Christmas in Clinton

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Clinton! Mark your merry calendars and join us for a holly jolly holiday season!!

Beginning Thursday, December 1st, at 5:30 pm Main Street Clinton hosts the 2022 Santa Claus Crawl. 

Join Main Street Clinton for a stroll on the brick streets while sipping cider with Santa and discover all that Olde Towne has to offer! Each guest will take home a keepsake mug and be eligible for great door prizes from participating businesses. Tickets are $25 dollars for early registration and $30 the day of the crawl.

The After Party will be held at the Olde Towne Depot from 8 – 9 p.m. where the door prizes will be given away by Santa with help from the business owners. There will be heavy snacks and drinks from local restaurants.

During Santa Claus Crawl, at 6:00 pm, the City of Clinton will light the Clinton Christmas tree outside of City Hall on Jefferson Street while the Arise choir sings a variety of carols to help us usher in the holiday season! 

On Saturday, December 3rd, Yule Run Clinton, the Chamber of Commerce’s annual holiday-themed race, is back for 2022! This race winds through Clinton’s historic Olde Towne Clinton into the heart of our annual Christmas parade route along Clinton Boulevard. The combined 5k walk/run and 8k run is designed for participants of all ages! Held bright and early on the morning of the parade, the race concludes in perfect timing for race participants to cozy into a seat for the parade.

All early bird and regular registration participants will receive a race tshirt, finisher medal and participant packet (swag bag), so be sure to sign up and fast! After the race, the Clinton Chamber Christmas Parade, held on the first Saturday of December for the last 47 years, will begin at 10:00 am. Each year, our city and businesses join with schools, clubs, and organizations to parade our streets with floats, fire trucks, bands, marchers, candy… and of course Santa!

Our annual Christmas-themed race concludes in perfect timing for race participants and attendees to cozy into a seat for the parade. In accordance with the race, “A Gingerbread House Christmas” parade will immediately follow and is sure to be fun for the entire community!
